Designed is dually registered as a mutual fund dealer and an investment dealer under the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization.
Designed is also a member of the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF), which provides limited protection for property held by a member firm on behalf of an eligible client if the member firm becomes insolvent.
Designed’s principal regulator is the Ontario Securities Commission, an independent Crown agency that regulates Ontario’s capital markets by making rules that have the force of law and by adopting policies that influence the behaviour of capital markets participants.
